Baby's Room

We've made great strides in the baby's room this week. Before we knew if we were having a boy or a girl, we decided to paint the walls blue. We figured if it was a boy we could do light blue accents and if it was a girl we could do pink accents. So the walls were painted (goodbye maroon sponge paint!), the furniture was moved in, and boxes from the attic came down with all our newborn stuff. I forgot how much **stuff** you use with a newborn baby! Grandma helped us out with one of her famous 30% off at Kohls coupons, so we were able to snag some pink curtains and a rug to pull the room together. We still have a few things to get for the room and to decorate the walls with, but I love how it is coming together!
The baby blanket was made by my Aunt Sue. I've always loved the pattern, so I decided to base my "pinks" off of it. Plus, I didn't want to use the baby bedding we bought last time again since the bumper was so thick and dangerous.
