Grandma took the day off to take us to the zoo. The zoo is such a great place for us to go -- it's only 10 minutes away, it's nice and small so we can go through the whole thing in a couple of hours, and it has lots of fun little experiences that never get old to Eva. She is always so excited to be there. As always, we had a great time and made lots of memories. I even went into the birds, which I hate, just because I knew she'd have a great time with them. Even I am growing.

We finally got to see the elephants! They've been taking baths the last two times we've visited. |
She loves to feed the ducks and very carefully feeds them one piece at a time. She likes to try to get them to follow her around and beg for the food. |
Her favorite. Grandma took the laps this time so I could rest for a little while. |
She's always a little intimated by the goats at first. |
But it doesn't take her long to brave up. |
Grandma couldn't get her the feed fast enough. |

Meeting the Lorakeets |
A horse was her ride of choice this time. |
Here she is mid-"Alllllll right" |
Waiting for the train to fill up. |
We love you, Grandma! |
